Your eyes stare back at me,
And a cold shiver stabs me in the back.
Monitors distort your image,
But I remember you.
I remember your laugh,
Your smile,
Your eyes.
But I remember your love the most.

True love at sixteen?
We laughed, but deep down I couldn't.
We were happy.
I was in heaven.
You were sated,
And the world became interesting.

The flower burst to bloom,
Colors revealed themselves,

And then you had to ruin my bliss.
